Overview
The monitored smoke detector offers life-saving protection from fire. As a life-saving device particular attention should be made when determining the best location for the sensor.
The Smke3 is a photoelectric smoke detector, meaning it detects the larger, darker types of smoke from burning plastic, sheetrock, and other engineered types of materials. Photoelectric smoke detectors detect a home fire (on average) by several MINUTES faster than the common smoke detectors found in homes.
A 2nd and 3rd zone can (should) be programmed to detect Heat and Freeze.
Note: DO NOT install in commercial accounts.
